I Am Fascinated By Human Behavior

Do you think the coronavirus and all its restrictions are harder on Americans than on other countries? We are used to a very pampered lifestyle, getting what we want when we want it, no inconveniences, and never going without anything. It's been this way since the 1950s. We think we are entitled to what we want and having it easy just because we are Americans and most people teach their kids this same ideal. I have seen people fall apart at the slightest thing not going their way and the idea of going without something is unthinkable. So while I hate the lockdown I am hoping itll teach America a sense of gratitude and an appreciation for how easy we've had it and maybe even we will learn how to go without things without falling apart. End of rant

Real Americans don't accept them as Constitutional. But not many any more understand why that's important and I fear they're giving up control to unlimited government.

@xp47rb And then there are the bozos who can't understand the benefit of doing something for the common good. You know the sort - those who claim to be the real Americans.

@hlpflwthat Real Americans understand that the Constitution does not empower government but strictly limits it. This panic created by the media over a virus that 97% or more will survive anyway does not justify government restrictions on Constitutional liberties.
