I Am Fascinated By Human Behavior

Do you think that the school shootings and other violence mainly comes from lack of discipline, especially parental discipline? One woman said that in our day (we grew up in the 80s) armed school officials meant a paddle not a gun. Lack of discipline is probably part of the problem but there's more going on than that. I told her there were plenty of spoiled brats in our day too, although it wasn't the majority like it is now.

Guns are just too dangerous to be so easily gotten in this day and age. It has become a fetish, but one that is too harmful not to control their availability. It harms no ones rights to limit how many bullets may be fired per second, and yet will obviously save lives, as has been demonstrated over and over again in mass shootings. Adults have lost their minds in this debate. Thank god for the children who see so clearly what needs to be done. And why shouldn’t they, as they see their schoolmates die.
