@HotPizza71 The issue is not that, but what's actually done with the 'data' that a person provides to verify one's age, etc. because once something is uploaded to another system you've lost control of it and no amount of 'promises' or 'statements' or 'policies' actually *guarantees* the sanctity of your personal information from that point on. It can be used for marketing, sold to other entities, or other insidious purposes.

@HotPizza71 It's worse - even services like gmail, etc. are going to be forced to implement age verification here. tbh, if this site ever does that, it'll drive away a large contingent of legitimate users who do not want uncontrolled personal information in the hands of untrusted entities.
