Just an observation concerning something I'm sick of hearing

There are several people around me who keep telling me America needs another civil war. Seemingly hoping it would happen.

Can't help but notice all of them have nice homes and property, good incomes, fairly well set for retirement when it comes, take multiple nice vacations every year and have young adult children just starting out in the world.

If they actually got their wish they'd spend every minute praying things would go back to normal.

@Punches Russia is financing social media meant to divide Americans. But you're right there are plenty of people right here, both in politics and in our neighborhoods, who do the same thing.

@badminton @robingoodfellow While I do think there is a confluence of others who want to impact American politics, but I have never been convinced the ongoing conflict between Russia and the US is not old coldwar style politics rearing it's ugly head to make people vote and act within fear. I think the source of conflict within the US is much more domestic than external.
