Everybody: Answer this as honestly as you can....

How come men of all ages don't care if women they're with or not with wear menwear. Some men say they find it cute, sexy, and some even say I don't care what the hell they wear.

But women on the other hand, mostly the older ladies (not all of you) make a big stink about a man wearing any form of womenswear. I have read stories how they think men are less masculine, more feminine and appeared less of man.

I don't know what I'm talking about anymore. I typed all this out and now I'm not deleting it. Just add your opinion

That's not my experience. I've been stopped several times when out for a walk by women of all ages who compliment me on my outfit. The most recent was on Saturday when a young woman, in her twenties I think, on the till at IKEA asked if I was going to a party and later a woman who i guess would be in her seventies said how good I looked. They were both looking straight at me and could have been in no doubt that i wasn't a genetic woman.

I suppose the silent majority could all be seething with resentment but it seems unlikely to me.

I read a lot (I mean a lot of on-line web blogs) and talked to many many woman specially in person. (Hick Town USA one sided I know). Most them would hate the thought of man wearing anything girly.

I know a lot of it is based on location, location, location. Big city people have different views, then the big country country people.

@HumanEarth The US seems to be much more hostile to cross dressing than northern Europe. I think it is in fact just one facet of a disapproval of anyone who stands out from the crowd except in approved ways.
