@SW-User Fucking right they don’t. What they appreciate are those who follow the BS norm and sticking to the unwritten rules that if someone is popular, you give them a pass. Those who appreciate the under-appreciated principles, they have my immediate respect.

@Ducky not even popularity that counts. If someone is abusive but then says they’re an addict or mentally ill thats all cool. Let’s give them sympathy and a free pass to keep doing it.

@SW-User Which is exactly why I’ve always tried to stress me being an alcoholic is never an excuse. But if I were popular here and made a habit of stirring the pot while also pissing and moaning about my issues with alcoholism, you can bet everyone would be kissing my ass and making excuses on my behalf in no time.
