How can humans be so deep in the shallow end of humanity?

That's why you're mean. That's why you're either laughing at or disassociated from the atrocities happening right in your face.

You sold out.

Whatever looks good. Makes you sound tough. Or seem cool.

I really appreciate the people that stay nice. And by nice, I don't mean a pushover. Basically just be decent, and do nice things when you don't have to. What's it hurt you to be decent?

I see right through the hate though. When people look down at me, or pick on others, say hurtful and unnecessary things. You're in the shallow end, it's not hard.

I hope humans keep swimming. I hope we keep diving deeper and find the meaning of harmony, synergy, in a nutshell, nature.

But then it seems it's in our nature to be dicks too.

Building up boundaries is more a statement of our limits.

But when did one person's limits become more important than an another's? And who gets first dibs?

So we violate each other with boundaries and stay stuck in the shallow end where everyone's been peeing in the water because they "don't care".

Whelp, I care. Only a few things I don't care about and one of them is people who "don't care".

Ima keep being kind even if it hurts.

I don't know what comes after this life, but I know I'm leaving it behind to future generations, so I'm trying to leave it better than I found it. And some people could do a much better job of at least being decent.

there is definitely an epidemic of setting boundaries, isolation, silos, and literally building fences

@1490wayb it's gone too far.

It's like they're ICE because they think everyone else is an immigrant simply for wanting to coexist.

Some are the very same hate they claim to be against.
