Why does our society consider crazy ex girlfriends "Cute"?

anyways as weird as I admit to be I love listening to ASMR videos at work when I get overwhelmed and feel like stress is finally gonna succeed at creeping in my life and recently I came across these ones...

I honestly enjoyed them but at the same time they make me mad thanks to all the bad experiences I've had with the crazy bimbos I used to click with in the past.

oh and dont get me started on how people would possibly react if these were guys in these videos playing the role of "the crazy ex boyfriend who kidnaped you." I bet these video would probably been flagged from left to right and being removed in no time and possibly people calling these guys the modern day Ted Bundys and other nonsense.

so I always wondered why do people underestimate and worst of all think that crazy ex girlfriends are cute and something to be entertained about? why do people refuse to see them as what they really are? CRAZY, tragic and dangerous.

I get what you’re saying. I think it’s mostly made into a joke of sorts (not that people actually enjoy the idea). But it’s not funny, because men deal with abuse and scary situations with partners/ex’s as well

I watched a documentary where this guy was talking about abuse he went through at the hands of his ex gf(mother of his kids). She completely manipulated and isolated him from his family over years, and would beat the shit out of him whenever she felt like it. He didn’t go for help bc he thought nobody would take him seriously and she was also the mother of his kids. Finally a call was made to police and when they got there they asked him if he needed help. He tried to deny any problem at first but eventually they took him Into hospital and her into jail. He had burns and wounds on his body and a broken arm (I think?). He was emaciated and just totally drained.

I think it’s made out to be cute/funny because it’s a woman, and we are viewed as weaker. It’s not cute or funny though. People who are like that (regardless of gender) are scary

@WaryWitchWandering we actually deal with it a way more than women themselves do here in the west thanks to feminism who supports and encourages women to act crazy and then play the victim card later on to get away with it.

but wow can I please have the name of that documentary? I'm actually no surprised about that man's outcomes because yes NOBODY takes us seriously in situation like these. everyone assumes that because we men are stronger by default that we must all be like Superman and take whatever gets thrown at us

but yeah it really isnt funny or cute. I bet the dudes who do think its cute and funny are probably virgin losers who never had a girlfriend in their lives and believes nothing can go wrong while in one
