@questionWeaver: Because it is the "right" thing to do... because it is the humane thing to do... because it is the best thing to do for long-term prosperity... because it's an "inalienable right."

Right ... and after 2,000 years, countries and cultures around the world, will suddenly feel compelled to adopt this "rights game" ... which only a small minority of the world feels is important.
