This sounds horrible when taken at face value.
I can also potentially see a point if this is what he meant.
What if the news is reporting on ISIS tourturing innocent locals. While it is important to tell the entire story, is really important to give equal time to the point of view of theterrorists all in the name of fairness?
I don't think so.

@RogueLoner I didn't say to not present both sides I also clearly said that the whole story should be told but no to give a crazy terrorist group equal time to spout their murderous views isin't necessary in order to tell the whole story and may do more harm than good.
I'm not a fan of the news media today but its not necessary to give " equal time" to everyone.
This is why sometimes they refuse to read the manifestos of mass murderers

@RogueLoner I duuno you are seeing a bit more of a hidden agenda of supressian than I am.
The media is ruled by advert dollars so this is the source of the problem.
I don't think that there is a massive hidden agenda to disallow facts.
In general the news is merely entertainment and most people aren't really that interested in total truth.
The market will demand what the masses want and if its the truth then we would have had it.
