I believe that some people are just doing it for their own selfish purposes.
I know a sleazebag guy that Joins charity groups filled with mostly sincere helpful women just so he can be surrounded by them.
He's one of those constantly touching, too close, too condescending, overly friendly creepy guys that women usually avoid. But he always makes sure he's "helpful" and does the hard dirty work and takes over jobs so he's in the middle and no one says shit!
