Most of the time unhappiness is about perception of the world, not the world itself. There doesn't have to be an aging crisis for anyone. With age comes grace, wisdom, the ability to laugh and invaluable memories. Nothing wrong with that.
If you're dealing with anxiety and depression and think it's hindering you from living a full life, talk to someone. If that person isn't helping, talk to someone else. It's normal for your age to experience wildly shifting moods and depression. It's not normal if it's cause by a neurochemical imbalance.
When perception shifts, the world can look a lot friendlier. Go outside, look at the sky. Drive to the ocean. And talk to a qualified professional. Good luck.
You all don't know what you are missing....You can see my age range and I'm totally fine with that! Just take day by day and see for yourselves. Don't think about the future, just be in the now
Correct Oconnor. Happiness is a decision. Example: You come home from work. You want to go out. Almost nothing will stop you, if you really want to get out. If you don't want to go out, a loose button on your shirt or blouse will be enough to stop you. Almost anything will be a good excuse. You choose how you want to feel. No one can MAKE you happy or make you unhappy. You decide your feelings.
Plz...to the ppl who are tired of life...think again and find the help you need because it's worth to keep living. Do you think no one here knows what it feels like wanting to give up, even for a moment? Well I have had moments like that in my past but I don't regret fighting against it and look...I'm happier than ever!
How I'd like to be back in my 30's. That's when you finally get the hang of things. You have experience and you have an idea what you want in your life. Just think......How many times did you change your mind about what you liked and what you wanted to do.....in your teens and 20's??????
I hope by the time you are 30 you have gained enough wisdom to appreciate growing older and how precious life is. I would never be your age again if given the chance...nothing but confusion and angst...btw...I am 66...I can't fix the age things here
Ive always assumed that when I'm in my thirties I'll be in my prime.... Never once considered an aging crisis..... I'd hate to feel how you feel and I hope you feel better soon
bcvegas4u , sometimes people have Mental problems or physical handicaps or daily pain and suffering so hard to tell right now what ails her at this young age
i thought about Death and i wish we had some Death timer that would have us go in our sleep before our body starts to fall apart , i haven't really accepted Death yet , kind of sucks though that we have to die
People are so silly. Life just begins at 30. That's kind of like the 5 year old saying they're not going to put up with all that school stuff because they already know all they're going to need.
