Yes I think family and marriage are valuable institutions...and I wish children could be raised by parents or close family member rather than daycare. We need people who are really invested in us and unconditional loving us for those early years, before we go out and face too much "reality."

@Peekaboo: I believe it is, whilst some might say it's the way Society itself leads us. I'm old ... lol, but my Mother taught me to respect my wife, to ensure that I took good care of money and teach my children to do the right thing. I did/still do those things (just like many others have) And yet some things I see, or get to hear of, has me wondering what it is that's being taught these days.
Society changes as we move on. I wouldn't say it's anyone's fault, but there are changes in how things appear to work within a family. But then; I'm getting on a bit, so maybe some might say I am being pedantic. lol ... 😀

I think so too. I doubt they will be part of my future, but they are definitely valuable in society.
