What rights do women not have IN THE US?

Sorry, its just that i seriously try not to pay attention to that stuff. i'm happy the way i live. unless they are stopping us from going to church and getting an education then thats a different story. Dont get me wrong, I do appericate the time and effort these women are doing to make life easy for EVERY women. Its really unnecessary .... But Why should i have to march outside just to try to prove a point? the only thing i be proving to anybody is how far i can walk without getting tired. How about we just all be humble and kind and be happy with what you got?

Basically stuff like workplace discrimination & the right to govern our own bodies. Title IX and other anti-discrimination laws have done lots but ultimately there's a lot of societal bias against women that needs to be overcome long-term through a shift in views on women. This is NOT to say that men don't face their own discrimination OR that discrimination against men is less important. Both are issues that need to be examined and worked on

The abortion thing is a tricky piece of morality. But personally I think it's pretty apparent what the decision should be.

I'm just tired of hearing American women bitch. They come from one of the most privileged countries in the world. They can stfu and fight for the women that aren't allowed to have a voice. These 'feminists' are PRIVILEGED enough to even call themselves that. There are women in other countries who wouldn't even dare speak against a man because they fear their lives being taken. There are women in other countries that would die to have the rights we do in this county. I just see a bunch of cry babies.

@TotallyBlissful: I know this better than absolutely anyone. I think they have a point though. Making abortion illegal is uncalled for.

I agree to disagree

@TotallyBlissful: On what? Whether abortion should be legal?
NoSugarCoating · 26-30, F
I believe abortion is wrong but i dont wanna get into that cause we all have our own opinions

@TotallyBlissful: It isn't much to talk about with me anyway. I have very bad morals.

@BlueMetalChick: Lol, people on here tend to butt in and get really defensive when you talk about conversational topics. I dont know why. But we can talk about it in message just to save us the trouble out in public

I don't think the fact that women have it worse other places invalidates the problems we have here. In fact, we're almost obligated to fight for our rights here because we have the ability to do so, which is something not all women have. Obviously we want women all over the world to have equal rights, but those at home are more personal because they affect us. But it's not like fighting for rights at home and fighting for them overseas are mutually exclusive.
