Too much of a good thing..,

"No more"..... my spirit shouts out!
Since June, we have had company visiting, it's overwhelming me...😔
Some stay 2 or 3 nights, others for a week.
I feel like a bed and breakfast.
I moved deep in these woods to get away from ...people. I love my solitude.
Sigh... I should be grateful that some enjoy our place as much as we do.
One couple just left Wednesday. Another family coming in 2weeks. They will leave the day before I go on a road trip to see my mother.
Yup.. I complaining!! My whole being is exhausted.
It's been too much for this little old lady!
Ok.. I feel better... I just had to sound off...

My mother used to wear herself out trying to impress visiting relatives. Her house was always their hotel on the east coast to save themselves money. It wasn't just the cleaning and the clean sheets and blankets. She felt like she had to feed them formally. So...the good china, and cooking...which she hated.

Then my father had to be the tour guide, and take the visitors to every historic site in our area...and there were a lot.

Once a year was almost too much, and twice a year would have pushed my mother over the edge.

So...I hear you!

@4meAndyou oh my! Crying... you understand! Yup, last night, we were informed... company is coming in..right before my own trip.
Its my husband youngest son. So... I wanted to say no way! But I couldn't...so here I am typing away my stress.
Thank you! It means a lot to me that someone can relate.

@ShadowWorker HUGS!!! Give him clean sheets, but let your husband do the entertaining and let them both BBQ all their meals together. Back away or you will be a hot mess for your OWN trip!!!
