My area is becoming more and more diverse. We are a pretty good size community, much different from any other areas in my state. This area has a bunch of money, we have great schools, but theres not much entertainment.
I have a two-bedroom apartment in a suburban-feeling neighborhood within a busy city. Its a ten minute walk to shops and restaurants and the subway but there are also chickens up the street so it’s a nice mix.
My house is on a dead end road in a community that used to be primarily farmland. It was built in the 40’s and is a cute and quirky little farmhouse. I have close to 2 acres and it’s very quiet. I’ve sometimes get deer and wild turkeys.
But I’m also less than 20 min from the downtown area of my city.
Just a suburban house, comfortably situated in a reasonable suburb of Melbourne. Everything convenient, with a small park next door. Its really too big for us now, but the location is impossible to replace, so we wont move.😷
I live in an Edwardian building, converted to flats from a 1915 rooming house in an older area of the city. Even now, it’s rather “touristy”, lots of restaurants and shops.

I live in a 4 suite house on the edge of the hood. Not excited about the neighborhood, but nobody bothers me. I can check the mail & do things around the house in a g-string or nude (I have) & nobody cares
