The simplest, most basic piece of advice..."take it one step at a time"

@LucyFuhr It is always great to see this and be reminded to do this.
LucyFuhr · 56-60, F
@Fauxmyope2 Absolutely!
Those words have held me together through countless tribulations.

@LucyFuhr is it like anti multi-tasking
LucyFuhr · 56-60, F
@Donotfolowme I don't think so...

That was the advice my mother gave me when I was diagnosed with cancer. The "one step" thing, kept me from getting overwhelmed by the whole situation at once...

Does that make any sense?

@LucyFuhr oh I see what you mean, taking one day as it comes n not over thinking. That is what i am doing these days. Medical things can trigger me easily so till my surgery day I am not thinking about it, is what i have decided.
LucyFuhr · 56-60, F
@Donotfolowme Exactly!
Medical issues are stressful enough without all the "thinking" that comes with them.
Just concentrate on your healing and recovery; you can deal with everything else when you're done with "you".

Best wishes on the surgery 🤗

@LucyFuhr thanks 😊
