I can't WAIT until meat-substitutes become the norm rather than the exception, can't you?

We're getting better and better at making delicious, convincing meat-substitutes and these subtitutes are only going to get better and cheaper.
So if you could eat a delicious beyond meat burger or a crispy chicken substitute, if you could enjoy "meat" without having to take life to do it....why wouldn't you?

I am already a vegetarian & dont eat dairy as im sort of allegic to it now. But I'm not vegan like my daughter. I eat some foods with ie milk powder in it.

Nice. Well you're doing better than me, then. I still eat meat and i still feel guilty about it. I'm happy to eat meat substitutes wherever good ones are offered but i haven't yet embraced my moral inclination and just become vegetarian.
@Pikachu It was really easy for me. If you watch enough on you tube about animail cruelty in the food industry you might change your mind. I was never a big meat eater anyway.
@Cutiepi23

That's the sad thing. Like many people, i think i've seen enough of that kind of thing to know there's some fucked up bullshittery going on there.
But i still eat meat.
@Pikachu I cant even look in a butchers shop. Its seems sad to see bits of cut up animails lying around to be bought. Its ailen to me.
