Why are good kind people sometimes treated badly?

LadyShagworthy · 26-30, F
Some people confuse kindness and weakness. When in fact it takes more strength of personality to be kind.

@LadyShagworthy Very well said.

Seen as a weekness by insecure people.

I think it's because people feel their soft and an easy target.
I used to be extra nice on here and mostly I still am, but I defend myself now and if people don't like it too bad.
indyjoe · 56-60, M
They are just easy targets both directly and indirectly.

If they're not pushovers, I think resentful and bitter people see them as representations of kindness they don't recieve so they attack the symbol of what they resent.

Because people who aren't good and kind are assholes.

Rabbits aren't virtuous. They're harmless. It's not that they choose not to hurt others--it's that they're too weak to do any harm to anyone. Since you can't respect a rabbit, it's easy to walk over them, because who gives a shit? It's a rabbit.

A wolf who actively decides not to harm others--but is more than capable of doing so--can be both respected and labeled virtuous.

So who do you want on your team? A rabbit or a controlled wolf?

It’s what the world wants. Kind people are seen as different. The world wants conformity.

Unfortunately thats the way it is

Mercy overrated. Patience unrecognized. Resourcefulness underestimated. Determination doubted.

The wolf said to the fox.
