am I a minority in this belief

like I value my own safety very little someone said that I should think about my safety when I go out running or jogging when it’s dark in the middle of nowhere I mean if I die it’s because it’s my time death is an inevitability so if I die then it was my destiny to die at that time am I wrong for thinking this way

Yes, that sort of thinking will get you injured or killed when you can take simple preventative measures to avoid that. There is no "greater destiny" or guiding force in life. What you see is what you get.
