am I a minority in this belief

like I value my own safety very little someone said that I should think about my safety when I go out running or jogging when it’s dark in the middle of nowhere I mean if I die it’s because it’s my time death is an inevitability so if I die then it was my destiny to die at that time am I wrong for thinking this way

Yes. I think every decision you make in the present is going to contribute to some type of inevitable ending in the future. We’re smart enough to understand the practical mechanism of things, something called “common sense”. Wrong decisions lead to wrong consequences.
