What was your last act of kindness?

I sent my son to tell my granddaughters boyfriend who was sitting in a hot truck ,alone .Papaw wanted to see him
I then told him to sit next to me and I would dare anyone to talk crap to him ,,he was my guest
He rescued my Granddaughter from a situation she put herself in ,,and she was to ashamed to ask for help ,she was warned
But this young man came to her rescue ,I am grateful ,,

He worked all night but still was willing to drive her 5 hours to her sisters wedding ,,
He broke down on the way ,,walked to an auto parts store and back and fixed the truck and continued on his way
To only get her home to be told he was not allowed at the wedding nor at my Daughters home ,,my youngest made him feel welcome ,,,Dad was proud of her .
My Daughter I guess had offered to come to get her
but told her no one was bringing her back ,,they planned on trying to convince her to stay ,,but she is 19 ,thats her choice
I reminded her Mom and her step dad all they put me through
I was the one who helped raise 4 kids I am not the father of because my daughters "Knew it all " until they were left with kids to raise alone ,
Dads who would rather go to jail then pay child support ,,and both my Daughter and son in law drank ,and he had a girlfriend he was cheating on when he asked my Daughter to move in with him
So it was kind of like the pot calling the kettle black

They expected him to get a bunch of people to the wedding and leave ,come back at 11pm to pick everyone up
In a city he knows no one ,and its 30 miles into no where

So he was dressed properly for the event ,he loved my granddaughter enough to get her home and to the wedding
I was not letting them exclude him ,,if he had to go
I would have left and I am Papaw
They all know they owe me due respect
I was good to their men when I knew they were losers
They finally seen it my way
Now its there turn to suck it up ,,and let their kids make the choices I allowed them to make ,,even when it hurt
They all were raised right ,,,we just got a few grandkids out of the deal ,,,at least she is over 19 ,,they weren't

Idk I try to be kind as much as possible and I don't even notice that, it's normal behavior to me.
Maybe... mmmmh... Today I finished my shift at work and went home. I was there since few minutes I didn't even take off my shoes and my superior called me at the phone. She was obviously upset and she asked my help, to go back to work cause she had a fight with the boss. The boss is very bitchy for no reason sometimes, especially with her cause they're in direct contact. So I told them to stay calm, be reasonable, and that I'd be back to work in few minutes and so it was.
I like to think I was kind in this, also I wanted to hug her hehe.

I dunno...I try to be kind as much as possible.

Not sure if it's the last one but, found a very wet wallet in the rain gutter some time back. Dried it out, tracked down the owner with some difficulty and returned it and it's intact contents to the kid. Not the first time either!

i am gathering clothes for a lady who lost her kids.
