@Isadora05 You'd be surprised. For example, cities have higher crime rates than towns including per-capita. Furthermore the more populated the city, the higher levels of crime proportionally as well. So, a bigger nation has more cities and each city is going to be greatly populated. What will that lead to? More crime per-capita.
When people are cramped together they're more likely to do illegal acts, especially against each other.
@TheProphet btw north korea has a population of 25.5M and about 150,000 people in prison, which is still less percentage of the population than United States’s 21 million prison population out of 325 million
@MissPriscillaPrim Actually I applaud what's going on and I'm certainly in favor of our dominance over other countries. Maybe you should psycho analyze your sexual deviations and leave governing to normal people.
@MissPriscillaPrim Not at all. I'm a man, you're neither a man nor a woman, just a mutant freak. People like you aren't worthy to govern and shouldn't be allowed to pro create.
@kingkyri Of course it depends a lot on what criteria you emphasize to define "best.." the Scandinavian Socialist Democracies are reported to have the highest quality standard of living.
Fair enough. What is your method for measuring it against each of the 200-something other countries and coming to that conclusion? Does it involve having been in each country?
@33person Well it's an arbitrary personal opinion. On a personal level there are certainly many reason why I have preferences to live here. On a global, less subjective level I would probably point to its influence in the world - historically, politically and culturally.
