@lizzy96 Oh ok, good good. Just making sure. I didn't want to mix things up. I mean I find the many different cultures of each division of 'Indian' as is colloquialised in the English language, very interesting. I've been reading about when the Marathas and the English were going at it!!

@lizzy96 I know. But!! Just recently they did get rid of a law that pretty much allows homosexuality amongst men. I dont know if they have a law against women having a go at it, but I mean its progress! Its something. These things take time unfortunately.
I think one problem is, which alot of outsiders dont understand is that India is not one people. I mean they are to an extent but India's a VERY large place with many sub-cultures, traditions, beliefs etc. I mean you've got Hindus, Muslims, Christians, Buddhists and within each of those 4 large belief systems, you have the smaller cultural attachments which each tribal have attached to the particular fashion in which they are 'Muslims' or 'Christians' etc. I mean even the difference between the Indians in the north and the ones in the south are huge! They might aswell be completely different countries. And once upon time India was made up of a bunch of little countries and princedoms. Then the British came in, used one against another and swallowed the whole bleeding lot up in a combination of territories, protectorates and allied states. Which later on all become under the crown after the Mutiny. But still. It didn't change the fact that a fellow in Mysore would never in a million years!!! Consider himself the same as a fellow living in Calcutta.
