Do you tell people the truth when you're depressed? Do you hide it?

Doesn't happen very often anymore and on the odd occurance it often passes before I have time to tell anyone. Mostly cold weather depression, low end SAD. I know what's going on when it happens and can usually self compensate. My wife can tell so I don't really need to tell her specifically.
