I have been working for almost 42 years without a break and have never done it once.

I will do it when I absolutely feel the need to be off. But it's not very often at all...I have a very good and reliable work ethic.

Once in awhile I call it a mental health day.

I've only ever called into work twice and I wasn't sick either time. The first time I got drunk with a friend and we decided to drive to California. The second time I had just broken up with the love of my life and needed a day to get myself together.

I don't.

I call in when I'm sick.

never have. only have had one day off in 8 months and that was because of food poisoning and i work everyday

Never because I'm an honest person and can't lie. I juat can't. Also, if I ever wanna just not work for a day or so, I usually pick something to do on a specific date and then I request off for that said day. At least it's a good reason to have off. Something to do, ya know? So I guess it depends on the person.
