Both. This was a big issue with my father and myself. He was a scientist, and I wanted to major in art. So I decided to explore the ways that art and science can blend together. One example is Moire Patterns. They are an optical illusiion, of a third pattern created when two separate patterns are overlaid. I won a science fair with that one.
