In this illusion their is no old you, in each moment nothing exists from the old you, it only exists in your remembering. Concepts and perception change and rearrange them selves in old time, become foggy.
All time is now, only regrets that the mind torments with itself. You torment you, for no other reason than to hang onto old.
That is why the GOLD in life, is to meditate, so that your mind won't trap you in. You trap you in. That is how you kill you, by a still, quite peaceful mind. Then the worry, the fears you hide behind, trying to kill you (ego of you) fall away into nothing, the nothing that you perceive as something.
Inner peace is yours, when you give up trying to overcome your over thinking. ......
