If Scotland were an independent state I'd heartily endorse the idea of applying for E:U membership!
It would make perfect sense!!
Grants and funding for all sorts of projects in Scotland would boost the economy, encourage growth and give Scotland a secure footing for the future!
That said. If you want somebody to be pissed at, it should probably be those in your home nation that voted against independence.
Personally I'm all for it !!
Scotland, Wales and Ireland were all independent sovereign nations before us English wreaked havoc!!
And there's no reason why you shouldn't be again!
