When you share words from other sites, do you give the author credit or plagiarize and pass it off as your own?

Especially in this day and age of sensationalist headline with little substance.

Always quote your sources.

I always give credit and the very least I put quotation marks around on those words. Plagiarizing is a bit of a peeve and I've seen it here and they've taken credit for it. 🤥

So far, I have only posted what comes into my mind.
If I were to use words from an external source, I would credit them.
