Most people are happy to live very shallow lives, work 9-5 and never go into depth about anything after watching T.V. all afternoon or instagram, then sleeping. Repeating that day after day.
Some few who do have depth and live deep lives exist. It just takes finding that person and having the time to cultivate that friendship. In my opinion.

You’d be surprised what happens if you privately ask your friends and acquaintances to stow their phones away out or at get together. You can figure out how to do it politely for each person in your circle.
It does sadden me when I go into a restaurant on a busy night and it’s really not that noisy. People everywhere looking at phones, tables of two to more, all head down and fingering away.

Weird isn’t it. To some extent this is true. Yet, so many of us are just craving a really good, deep connection. For all sorts of reasons we just can’t find the right person/s or circumstances for it to happen.

I am not that attached to my cell phone.
Because I changed it every year.

Tell that to the groups "camping" and sharing life sageness below my windows around 1 AM during the summer please. 😭 I'd rather them to stare at their screens and shut up or take their sageness somewhere else.

If you get off your own phone, you'll find out this isn't true.
