Talking about deep subjects after church

We are all busy people rushing around trying to balance the day’s needs with what we perceive as our needs, both daily and the foreseeable future but we can never bridge the gap between these things because reality and our thoughts do not coincide.

Many of us have a religious sense and an emotional connection with a spiritual consciousness that we are taught about by our family and our priest, and then blame life and God and our family and circumstances because first we don’t understand it, and then it is the injustice and grief that settles in our hearts.

This afternoon we have been comparing notes on what perceive of those ubiquitous questions.

I attend a Unitarian Universalist church. We range from athiests, Pagans, recovering Christians, Jews and more.

We have very interesting conversations.
