Why did depth, intimacy, length, and every other form of real human-to-human conversation disappear from the internet?

Is it because people genuinely didn't want these things, or because of some other more random reason? Why is is virtually impossible to find anymore? Why does no one seem to want it?

Cos girls weren't locked at home and had freedom to speak to each other.

Guys being shit at conversation now get ignored. It's just you, don't sweat it ok?

@Alison Wow - sexism out of nowhere and cruelty out of nowhere. That's... almost impressive, in the way that the tactics of bullies are sometimes impressive.
Alison · 18-21, F
@BlueDiver I'm not wrong. Guys are shit at convos and girls having the internet now don't have to bother with guys. It's a win for us.
Facts over feelings u know.

@Alison Yeah, but nothing that you're saying has literally anything to do with anything that I've said. You're coming at me out of nowhere with this stuff - stuff that's sexist, bullying, and that doesn't seem to be actually responding to anything that I'm saying. It seems like you're responding to sexism and hate in your own heart, and just using me as a way to do that.
It seems that represents weakness you show those emotions you become a target sad but true
BlueDiver · 36-40, M
@DRDEATH Yeah, people genuinely seem to look down on you if you want those things, instead of wanting memes and one liners and all of the other stuff that's become the-only-thing-that's-allowed-on-the-internet-anymore. Like there's something wrong with you.
It's always easier to point their fingers at anyone else except themselves

I’ve been asking the same thing. It’s sad :(
ViciDraco · 36-40, M
Because there are too many dishonest actors on the internet waiting to prey upon those willing to open themselves up. It makes everyone guarded.
BlueDiver · 36-40, M
@ViciDraco But I mean, it's the internet - there are at least a decent number of contexts here where there's literally no way for someone to hurt you - anonymous contexts where there's no danger to exposing yourself, because your actual life is untouchable, and you can just block the person if they're what you're talking about.
ViciDraco · 36-40, M
@BlueDiver people still get attached to their anonymous accounts and the reputations they might hold. Even with the internet it is easy for people to get hurt
BlueDiver · 36-40, M
@ViciDraco Yeah, I've noticed that too. Like on here, people freak out about their SW reputations as much as they would on FB. It does make a sort of sense, what you're saying, I'll admit.
