I have never been interested in competition sports ( unless you count the several years in which I played in a local-league skittles team, and played not very well) so don't really have a favourite or least favourite, apart from intensely disliking boxing.
Apart from the play though I do not like the way that the "big" sports have been so prostituted by money, TV and politics.
I was not the only Briton to be glad to see fail, that American bid to create a hermetic "super-league" in British and European [i]foot[/i]ball; a minority game in the USA but seen as a foreign sport ripe for outright exploitation by a few rich spivs - I've no idea who they were, nor if they knew anything about the game itself.
