Why is it that almost every community (and individuals in general) that claims to be accepting and wholesome are usually toxic as heck?

while accusing everyone else of being toxic?
(for the record, in this specific instance, I'm talking about the ASMR community)

beneath surface level those guys are basically walking landmines,

I don't even need to try, it's more I don't even know how NOT to tick those guys off 😂🫠

but maybe it's just a Reddit thing? I dunno 🤔

Lol sorry for your shitty experiences there

I don't like people whispering in my ears unless we are close emotionally.
Fishy · 36-40, F
@Miram tbf tho... ASMR is meant to help anxious people chill out, so I guess it kinda makes sense that most of the fans would highly strung little explosives 🤔

@Fishy I think it is their fetish thingy
Fishy · 36-40, F
@Miram actually the it goes against the subreddit rules to post NSFW, people get dogpiled there if they do that too, and then yelled at for gooning 😂

Feel like a lot of online communities turn into echo chambers, if you don’t get in line you are easily shunned/kicked out.
Fishy · 36-40, F
@lucasll true, but it also gets to the stage where the line is invisible and they all just expect you to see it 😬

@Fishy Especially on reddit it seems like some subreddits are moderated by people with subjective opinions they force on others & remove posts that disagree. I do agree that the line feels invisible in many communities.
