how communities come together to help

Word has started to get out about our church's plan 3 different churches in our area have offfered assistance both with money to buy supplies and helping cooking. We are not a large town so its not like thousands are going to show up every evening we're expected maybe a couple hundred, but its great we can help.

@496sbc yep my community has several families that rely on food stamps for food. we are trying to make sure they eat

@496sbc they say that because the republicans control the senate to a point but this kind of bill requires 60 votes theres only 53 republican senators

@Mountainlady16 😐 So Orange peel controls the senate and still can't get anything done? I guess he really is running the government like one of his businesses.
