Does reporting posts even matter anymore?

I haven’t gotten a notification that my reports have been reviewed in over a year, I think.

It does.
They are being reviewed.
Even if they're not reviewed, it is more legally binding when the shit show of consequences extends outside of this place.
Case was reported. Indifference is complacent evidence.

@Miram Are admin required to report certain cases? If so, good. I just assumed they quit looking and autoban kicks in once enough people report.

@SwampFlower They are obligated to, legally by federall aws. Failure to report certain cases after being notified can lead up to $300,000 per missed report and in certain cases there can be even criminal persecution.

The trick is that they were notified. There is evidence they were told.

It is a part of why experience project had to shut down. While they claim it was to protect the privacy of its users, it was actually to protect themselves.
