I can come up with excuses tailored to your life, to get you out of all kinds of situations. I can be your daughter/sister/cousin/partner/neighbor with all kinds of different problems. I can come up with illnesses, emergencies, important errands, and obligations. I can call and loudly cry and beg for your help while you’re in front of other people.

@Lonelyandyb you have someone coming to fix your hvac unit or water heater tomorrow (your choice). They’re giving you a time frame of showing up that will get you out of your first few hours of work, and they have to leave and grab a part (heck, maybe they end up having to install a whole new hvac unit/water heater) and it’s going to take the rest of your work day.
