Well sometimes it’s needed
( depending on the situation) but sure … it is used in desperation at times by those who won’t ever take responsibility for their behaviour … like when they are confronted about their bs etc
I personally think a conversation about each others feelings is what grown ups do until they reach a healthy compromise but hey I’m just too good for my own good 🥴
