How Did You Handle Peer Pressure Growing Up?

I was stubborn and never gave in to peer pressure. I wasn’t interested in be part of a clique or group like that.

By refusing to be led, and becoming fierce enough that people tread lightly around me.

@Primnproper Laugh…the credit goes to my dad. He was a great teacher and example…among other things, people who knew him often described him as a man “with no back up in him”.

@Primnproper I’m biased of course, but I think he was. One of my retirement projects is going to be writing his biography. He was so many things: a Civil Rights pioneer before the time of MLK, a self taught engineer and inventor with 25+ patents. But he was also wise…scholarly….but also a physical force…immensely strong…and a fighter.
