I liked a, ladybird book about bridges. I think it was just called "Bridges". 🤷

@Primnproper I had an ambition to see one of the bridges out of the book, since I was about 8. I wanted to see the world's first iron bridge. It was so famous, the village next to it got renamed "Ironbridge". I have been to Ironbridge now and seen the iron bridge. 👍

@Primnproper Yes and no. Yes because it is a beautiful bridge and piece of engineering. No because it is small. I expected it to be bigger. The locals are proud that the iron is out lasting the concrete supports

@Primnproper Yes indeed! I've seen the Forth Rail Bridge as well a London Tower Bridge. I have a long way to go to complete seeing all the bridges in that book.
