Did you have a favourite toy when you were a child?

That was back when you'd go to the big department stores and the better ones would always have a huge train set complete with miniature houses, trees and tiny people all set up in their HUGE toy departments :)

@SageWanderer my auntie and uncle years ago converted a bedroom into a whole town with different trains running, it was amazing!

@Primnproper That’s my plan for next winter. I have a home office that’s no longer needed so plan on converting it to a train room. Plenty of room plus already have trains, tracks, buildings and such to do it!

@RenFur My parents would take me to downtown Pittsburgh for the display. Then my father and I would start on our yearly Christmas layout.

@Primnproper It will keep me out of the bars at least. 😉 And it’s a hobby that I’ve been wanting to get back to for a few years.
