Why is there such a crappy view on homeschooling ?

I argue kids socialize less in school. Teachers bark "you aren't here to be social" at kids
Instead of just being with kids their own age they are with all age groups.
I'm not saying everyone homeschools right but 🤷

It's banned in Germany and I have an idea why. Fear of indoctrination from extremist groups, creating a state within a state...as if they haven't had enough of these problems already.

@CrazyMusicLover I saw a homeschooled guy in college, he was bright, knowledgeable but really weird. He really acted like straight out of secluded religious camp. His social skills felt so mechanical as if rehearsed.

@eMortal also we aren't religious and the socialization is not compatible today to when we were children l. My kids are able to socialize more than I was ever allowed in school

@chickiegirl95 I was just trying to have a critical view on this.
I applaud your commitment but like any teacher, always keep yourself and your methods in check.

@eMortal oh I absolutely do. I try my damnedest to make sure they have the best education I can offer. We travel as well to give very hands on experiences
