When do age gaps become a problem?

Assuming each party is an adult. Where would you draw the line?

When the society dictates the rules there's not really any choice. The lines are drawn by the society.

Cross it at your own peril!

There's is no problems if the society isn't involved.

Age doesn't matter, gender doesn't matter, nor does multiple relationships matter either.

As long as the society doesn't get involved!

Look at the Zo é tribe of Brazil and see if their society could possibly be ever acceptable in western society?

Simply impossible!

It's a polygamist matriarchal society! Not a patriarchal monogamous society!

This is why they are a proscribed society. Western culture by itself would destroy the minor culture to shreds.

Now compare it to Islamic society! It's huge! Yet age difference doesn't matter either, despite it being absolutely patriarchal!

This is why there's a war going on in the middle east.

The societies are too different.

Same is applying here in the USA! Yet with a theological society!

Cross the line at your own peril!

@DeWayfarer So you have no problem with a 70 year old man and an 18 year old girl getting together.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@LordShadowfire I have heard of the 18 year girl demanding it from the 70 year old man.

Just not in the USA!

Read your Bible BTW!

@DeWayfarer You really want to refer to a book that also justifies slavery as the source for your morality?
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@LordShadowfire no I'm pointing out that even in the Bible there was different societal values!

And your slavery is another good example!

Different societies different versions of values.

Who is to say a matriarchal society is any better or worse than a patriarchal society today?

Dump the societal values no problems with either one!
