I’m more offended by radical policies that affect my way of life than silly names. Call me crazy but my self-survival trumps everything else in life. Being bothered by verbal insults is not a good idea if you wish to survive in a demonic world.

@wonkywinky if is done in the context of having fun that's fine. If it is done to ridicule or demean, it is just a sign of low mentality.
Apt category to put this under, community. I'm not religious, and I think the topic of religion misses the mark upon this, even though it creates tight-knit communities (hopefully embracing).... We are so distant from each other in these modern ages. If you create distance from human touch and expression, you lose the unknowable touch in joy of those tangible and intangible qualities of being human.

The naming of others has always been used as a means of control. And is likely to continue.

By naming people or things we exert a degree of mastery over them. It's often an delusional mastery but it still feels powerful.

Because they have a truckload of brand new 'MAGA' hats that have no meaning, so they take it upon themselves to give meaning to those who won't wear them.
