What is your fave cause or charity?

I've long been involved as a volunteer with one organization or another... the most recent was as a volunteer maintenance person at a woman's shelter, the one before that was the Red Cross, and before that I volunteered at a couple of different homeless shelters in different countries I was in.

Now I contribute to microloan organizations, the Humane Society, a regular monthly donation to a clean water organization, a local teachers' organization to fund arts and literature/reading programs, and I seem to always be giving money to legit go fund me needs.

I'm not wealthy, but I figure if we all do what we can, then we will have a better world.
