Do You Donate To These Charities That Run Ads On TVs In The Evening Showing Suffering Children or Suffering Animals That Need Help?

Cause there is a very detailed article on a website called The Burning Platform about “Big Charity Scams” where that money goes. To executive salaries and huge amounts to employees. These charities are setting on billions of dollars of assets and still begging money off of kind-hearted people who are buying into it. It’s sickening and I already knew they were scams. When they use the word suffering they draw it out to get our sympathy.

Thank you for bringing this the attention it deserves. Years back I did a study on the amount of money that actually goes to the needy myself. I was disappointed to discover that a majority of that money goes to administrative fees, bills, etc... and a pittance ends up helping the needy. Then you have the sad music playing in the background, a method straight out of Hollywood. It pulls on those heartstrings and they know it works. No shame. Lots of scoundrels and thieves out there, Charity Navigator is a good place to start when giving. I give to the local pantry where just a few dollars feeds up to 40 hungry mouths.

@PatKirby yeah and several of them say “SUFFERING” in the very same way. Makes me think the same agency is creating commercials for these charities.
