you in support of reparation payments?

seems to me just people wanting handouts and using history as a form to get it.
I think its the stupidest thing.
Just watched a Piers Morgan debate or screaming match if you wanna call it that where they were Arguing about the king of Britain having to apologize for slavery and the black women arguing for it could not answer a single question and would just rant on about nonsense and eventually when finally asked what she wants, she said reparations.
So Pierce went on to ask if Roman and Viking ancestors should have to pay him reparations also and she went on about not talking about slavery, so it confused me what the hell she wanted reparations for haha..
anyway its dumb, go get a job and stop trying to get handouts wherever you can as far as i am concerned.

No....what reparations could white people possibly give black people that would remotely address what was done to them?

@originnone It wasn’t done to the people who are demanding the reparations though. The victims are dead and long gone. The people who want the money are just riding on their coattails trying to be victims. Which is a shame to their ancestors for them to do that.

@cherokeepatti They are, but as a people they were and continue to face racial abuse. At least native Americans got reservations where they can somewhat make their own rules....

@originnone That’s a separate issue. And Native Americans haven’t been paid their oil royalties either many millions of dollars and the government has gone against the treaties too. You don’t know about the racial discrimination that they have faced on or off the reservations. Might wanna read up on the horrific history of the Indian boarding schools beginning with the Carlisle Boarding school and what a failure it was. 10,500 students forced to live there and only 158 ever graduated from the school. So much of a failure that the government decided to build more, take the children forcibly from their parents and force them into those schools to strip their culture and abuse them sexual and every other way.

@cherokeepatti I am very familiar with the racial discrimination of native Americans. that disgusts me as well. My point wasn't to say reservations were terrific....just that there was something as opposed to nothing....I think in that way they are very relatable issues.

@originnone Nothing will get done about it. The point is that paying off a young generation that hasn’t suffered like their ancestors will only breed more entitlement. This is a Communist tactic and it will blow up on everyone.

@Nitedoc if we could actually do that, it would be terrific, but this is still a white society governed by rules that white people set up. As a white person, it's really hard to incorporate into my mind the fact that black people in this country have NEVER gotten the government they want. they've always had to live under the one we set up. that's a lot to take in....

@originnone It won't be in your or my lifetimes but in the future I have little doubt that Black people will outnumber White people and lead the country. Look where they are already in politics, business, education, law enforcement, military - you name it. Dynasties come and go throughout history. This country isn't very old compared to the rest of the civilized world. I firmly believe this "dynasty" will fall be replaced just like they always have been
