If You Like To Fish For Catfish, Here Is A Tip….

I am watching a YouTube video of these guys fishing for catfish in a good-sized lake. They are catching some big ones one after another…first one weighed 26 pounds. They heard that using Pam cooking spray on cut bait fish would attract catfish. Seems to be working well. They are throwing them all back into the lake.

It seems the stinkier the bait, the better. When I was a kid, I would use freshwater clams as bait for catfish. So, I bought some clams one weekend, but something came up and I couldn't go. I put the clams in a plastic bag with water and stored them in the fridge until the next weekend. So...I go fishing the next weekend, open up the first clam to put it on the hook. OMG...the smell about knocked me over, but when I tossed my line out, I had a catfish in about a minute. And every cast led to a fish almost instantly.
