did you hear that Cleopatra was black

yep that is right, Netflix confirmed it as did the writers of the series. So it must be true.

Just ignore the lawsuit happing against Netflix by some Egyptians for trying to erase their history.
Surely it wouldnt be Hollywood trying to rewrite history to put black people at the center of everything instead of just making compelling shows on Black history that does not include slavery
Race swapping is just far easier

@helenS
The historical Cleopatra may very well have been black. We don't know though, because skin color was irrelevant at that time.
Have you forgotten about those Blacks in the Bible?

Song of Solomon 1:5-6 (KJV) = "5 I am black, but comely, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, as the tents of Kedar, as the curtains of Solomon.

6 Look not upon me, because I am black, because the sun hath looked upon me: my mother's children were angry with me; they made me the keeper of the vineyards; but mine own vineyard have I not kept."

Jeremiah 13:23 (ERV) = "A black man cannot change the color of his skin, and a leopard cannot change its spots. In the same way, Jerusalem, you cannot change and do good. You always do bad things."

Almost every page of the Bible is racist. It is one of the most popular pieces of racist literature ever written.
